HOW INJURY TO FASCIA OCCURS
As you age, your muscles and bones become less stable than they were before. This is usually attributed to fascia, the glue that connects every part of the body together. Its this fascia that binds specific cells into tissues, tissues into organs, and organs into systems.
Besides that, it cements all internal structures into place and envelopes the entire body. The key function of fascia is that it gives you freedom of movement, hence enabling you keep your body strong and healthy.
At a younger age, fascia is flexible and bendable.
As you grow older especially past the age of 35, use your body athletically or have undetected fascia damage, your body will start to lose this elasticity.
When this occurs, you will feel some of your body parts becoming more rigid.
This severity can not only increase, but any move you make to reduce the pain makes it even worse.
